Nico Salo is moving back to Tampere Classic due to family reasons.
Tampereen Classic, which plays in floor bandy’s F-league, announced a strong reinforcement, when the captain of the World Cup gold team, Nico Salo, returns to the familiar club in the middle of the season.
The reasons behind the transfer are related to family affairs. Transferred to Swiss SV Wiler-Ersigen for this season Nico Salon the family is expecting another child, and due to the high-risk pregnancy diagnosed last week, the family wants to return to Finland immediately.
– First of all, I am very grateful to Wiler-Ersigen that they let me cancel the contract and understood that this situation in our family is bigger than sports, Salo said in the club’s press release.

Salo, 30, has managed to play 281 regular season games in his career in the F-League with an output of 119+185=304. There are five SM golds, two silvers and one bronze in the trophy cabinet.
