The captain gets angry in the interview: “What do you think!?”

Karlskoga is chasing the league lead in the hockey Allsvenskan and in Friday’s match against Västerås they go for a knock straight away. Västerås is 4-0 down after one period has been played, and then the team captain becomes noticeably irritated in the interview during the period break.
– Sorry, that’s a very strange question, what do you think!? says Konstantin Komarek.

Karlskoga is ahead of the match in second place in the table, on the same points as Södertälje.

Västerås, which is eighth before the match, collapses in the first period and concedes three goals in just over five minutes. A few more minutes later, Västerås concedes 4-0.

– Västerås is in total trouble, says TV4’s commentator Daniel Kristiansson after the 4-0 goal.

Anger in the interview: “What do you think?”

After the first period, Karlskoga leads with a full 4-0. They lead the Scots 21-2.

– We don’t really keep up. We’re not good enough in box play this period, that’s what’s letting us down, says Västerås team captain Konstantin Komarek.

At the end of the interview in the first period break, Komarek is asked if there is anything to build on. Then Komarek gets irritated, to say the least.

– It says 4-0 and 21-2 in shots, what do you think!? Sorry, that’s a really weird question. If we’re going to build on this, it’ll probably be 12-0, then he leaves the interview.

Match penalty in the second period

In the second period, Komarek suffered an ugly tackle to the head from Karlskoga’s Casper Haugen Evensen. The tackle resulted in a match penalty.

Full brawl in the third

In the third period, Västerås’ Malte Sjögren and Karlskoga’s Viktor Lennartsson ended up in a full-scale fight after a situation at Västerås’ goal cage. The players dished out several blows to each other before being shown off for five minutes each.

Karlskoga won the match 5-0. Now the team climbs to first place in the table.

Highlights will follow after the match on TV4 Play.
