Last year, the pandemic restrictions were lifted too late for it to be possible to arrange Expo Norr in time. So Mess General Krister Lingblom saved his money until this year. That’s why the fair is back where it once was when it all started just over 70 years ago – in the tennis hall in Östersund.
– It’s a great place in the middle of central Östersund, says Krister Lingblom.
Since admission is free, he does not know exactly how many people visited the fair, but he says he is satisfied with the crowd flow on Saturday, the fair’s second day.
The siblings tried a virtual reality
– It’s been good, we just opened today, but yesterday I also think we had a good flow considering the weather and that it was a weekday, says Krister Lingblom.
There were around 90 exhibitors at the fair, one of which was able to try on VR glasses.
