NCIS is back in May 2024 on M6 with a new season full of emotions…
Fans will have to be patient. NCIS: Special Investigations is back in May on M6, with a highly anticipated 21st season, marked by a tribute to David McCallum, aka Donald “Ducky” Mallard, who died last September at the age of 90. But the broadcast of the new episodes of the season, and therefore of the tribute paid to this figure of NCIS for years, was postponed by M6, in favor of football fans: to give time to Olympique de Marseille to qualify (or not) for the final of the Europa League, the channel has in fact canceled the launch of the new season of NCIS, originally scheduled for May 4. The first episode of season 21 has been pushed back to Saturday, May 11, from 9:10 p.m.
Season 21 of NCIS opens with “The Day Comes”, a poignant first episode where Agent Torres confronts his tumultuous past and his childhood dealing with an abusive stepfather. We discover that young Torres considered a desperate act at the time, but changed his mind thanks to the intervention of his sister. This flashback is followed by a return to reality where Torres finds himself accused of the murder of this same man. His colleagues, including Léon Vance and Agent Parker, will then mobilize to help him prove his innocence…
Among the other episodes of this 21st season, we find the highly anticipated “Farewell Ducky”, which promises to be particularly moving. It begins with Jimmy visiting Ducky, where he discovers him dead peacefully in his sleep. This episode will be an opportunity for the team to remember the significant moments shared with Donald Mallard, and therefore for the production to return to the considerable contribution of David McCallum to the saga.
Among the promises of this event episode of NCIS, the return of several emblematic characters such as Gibbs, Abby, and Ziva is announced. Michael Weatherly, playing Tony Dinozzo, also participated in the filming of this episode to provide a moving farewell scene. For executive producers Steven D.
