The British tell their D-DAY

The British tell their D DAY

During the Allied landings in Normandy in June 1944: 73,000 British soldiers were engaged alongside many others; it was from England that this vast operation to liberate Europe was orchestrated. It was from England that the soldiers approached the Normandy coast. In the 2000s, Jean-Marc Four, who became director general of RFI, was correspondent for Radio France in London. He then meets those who participated in the Landing and records their testimonies.

“The British tell their D-DAY”, a major report by Valentin Hugues based on the archives of Jean-Marc Four.
