Robert Helenius has received a two-year suspension from all international competitive activities subject to doping rules, confirms The British Anti-Doping Organization UKAD.

On August 11, 2023, Helenius gave a doping sample containing the drug clomiphene in London. The test was taken the day before Helenius and Anthony Joshua match between
Helenius’ suspension is considered to have started on 18 September 2023 and will end at midnight on 17 September 2025.
In the press release published by UKAD, Helenius pleaded that clomiphene ended up in his system via eggs and chicken meat. However, Helenius was unable to provide sufficient evidence on the matter.
