The Bridgerton Chronicle: What to Remember Ahead of Season 2

The Bridgerton Chronicle What to Remember Ahead of Season 2

BRIDGERTON. “The Bridgerton Chronicle” returns for season 2 this Friday from 9:01 a.m. on Netflix. We summarize the plot for you before the release of the new episodes.

[Mis à jour le 24 mars 2022 à 8h33] The Bridgertons are back on Netflix soon. Season 2 of The Bridgerton Chronicle is online this Friday, February 25, 2022 at 9:01 am, almost two years before the release of season 1. In previous episodes, Daphne Bridgerton had found love in the arms of Simon, the Duke of Hastings. The eldest of the Bridgertons, Anthony, also decides to marry. Finally, the end of the first season revealed that Penelope Featherington was hiding behind Lady Whistledown, this mysterious character who revealed the secrets of each other. In addition, Marina Thompson marries Sir Philip, and Lord Featherington has been killed and his fortune will go to a man whose identity we do not yet know. But his name does not seem to please Lady Portia.

Season 2 of Bridgerton will therefore focus on Anthony’s romance. The latter will find himself in opposition to Kate Sharma, fiercely opposed to the idea that he court his younger sister solely out of interest. But these two strong heads will however get closer, which promises not to help the situation. For her part, Penelope continues to hide her secret identity while doing her best to establish her position in high society.

This season 2 of Bridgerton will be distinguished from the previous one by being more romantic, in the style of Jane Austen’s masterpieces, and less focused on sex scenes, which caused a lot of talk in season 1. If Regé-Jean Page will not be back in the cast, fans of the Bridgertons will be able to find the rest of the main cast in this season 2. New actors are also arriving: this is the case of Simone Ashley (Sex Education) who plays Kate Sharma, the young woman with whom Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey) will fall in love. Charithra Chandran lends her features to Edwina, Kate’s sister.

Regé-Jean Page achieved worldwide success by interpreting Simon Basset, the Duke of Hastings, in The Bridgerton Chronicle. But the comedian announced in April 2021 that he will not appear in the sequel to the series. It should therefore be absent from season 2, devoted to the romance between Anthony and Kate. To justify his departure, Regé-Jean Page spoke to Variety about his discussion with the production before season 1, which had told him that each season was independent and had a specific plot: “I said to myself, ‘It’s interesting’ , because it felt like a limited series. I can participate, I can contribute, and then the Bridgerton family moves on.” However, the actor is not replaced in the role of Simon during this season 2. His wife, Daphne, appears well in this salvo of 8 new episodes, and the Duke of Hastings is indeed mentioned a few times. .

Season 2 of The Bridgerton Chronicle is to be discovered this Friday, March 25, 2022 on Netflix. But from what time can we start binge-watching the romance between Anthony and Kate? Like all the original productions of the platform of streamingit is from 9:01 am that the new burst of episodes will be put online in France.

The first season of The Bridgerton Chronicle is released on Netflix in December 2020. Fans of the series had to wait more than a year before discovering the sequel: season 2 is released on the streaming platform on 25 March 2022.

If he is convinced that it is his duty to preserve the Bridgertons’ name, his efforts to find a young girl to match his mad demands seem futile.Until Kate and her younger sister Edwina Sharma arrive from India. When Anthony begins courting Edwina, Kate understands his true intentions – he is in no way seeking to marry for love – and decides to do everything possible to prevent this union. But the speckled foil exchanges between Kate and Anthony only bring them closer each other, complicating the situation for everyone… On the other side of Grosvenor Square, the Featheringtons must welcome their new heir, while Penelope tries to establish her position in high society, while say simulating his most unmentionable secret to those close to him”
