The bridge on road 261 is the only way out to the island west of Stockholm, which affected many car travelers.
The Swedish Transport Agency’s technicians worked on the problem for over two hours and the forecast was postponed several times after 4pm. Just before 6 p.m., the bridge was open to traffic again.
