The Boys star is sure her character will die in

Amazon’s superhero satire The Boys will open its final chapter with the upcoming fifth season. Even though the final showdown between Homelander and Billy Butcher will not end quite like in the comic book, fans can expect an apocalyptic finale in which no character is safe.

Not only The Boys fans, but also the cast of the Amazon series are already speculating about what fate the characters could face in the 5th season. While Chace Crawford has already expressed his wish for The Deep to die, actress Valorie Curry is also pretty sure that Firecracker does not survive becomes.

The Boys actress Valorie Curry is sure that Firecracker will not survive season 5

In the fourth season of The Boys, the alt-right internet personality Firecracker joined the ranks of the most despicable Supes from the Seven superhero team. In order to get Homelander’s (Antony Starr) attention and recognition, she took drastic steps. With the help of drugs, she made her body produce breast milk: Homelander’s favorite drink. And that had devastating health consequences.

Firecracker is not doing so well

Towards the end of the fourth season, the side effects of Fircracker’s drug abuse are dramatic. She coughs constantly, is extremely weak and develops heart problems. Could she soon die from this? As actress Valorie Curry reveals in an interview with TVLine, this is not the reason for a possible death:

I don’t think Firecracker will die like that. I think she will die, but not like that. I think that would be a bit too easy.

How could Firecracker die in season 5? Of course, there is still no official confirmation that the character will actually die in the finale or even how. However, a final battle against her declared arch-enemy Starlight (Erin Moriarty) would be a perfect reason for the most brutal ending possible.

When is The Boys Season 5 coming to Amazon?

Showrunner Eric Kripke and his team are currently busy writing the scripts for the series finale. Filming is expected to begin this year and could last until mid-2025. For the release, this means: Season 5 will not be available on Prime Video until 2026.

But fans won’t have to go without The Boys content for quite that long, as a second season of the spin-off series Gen V is expected to hit Amazon sometime next year. It will give us our first look at Homelander’s new America.
