The boyfriend’s criticism to Stina Nilsson – despite the victory in Vasaloppet

The boyfriends criticism to Stina Nilsson despite the victory

Emil Nykvist is one of several Swedes who are in place at the classic ski resort Holmenkollen. In the initial sprint, Nykvist finished in a 71st place, which may be seen as a disappointment.

When Nykvist talked to News24 he was dissatisfied with his performance, but was at the same time pleased with Holmenkollen’s incredible atmosphere.

– Yes, but that’s cool. There is a lot of audience here, it is impressive. It is noticeable that it is a great sport in Norway.

When he comes into his own efforts, he is self -critical:

– Yes, I was pretty tired today, what I’m not very happy with it. I bring a zero in stand and look ahead instead.

Emil Nykvist is together with one of Sweden’s most popular winter athletes, Stina Nilsson. In early March, she stood as superior winner of the Vasaloppet, something Nykvist obviously holds high.

– Winning Vasaloppet is in my world the largest you can win, it beats everything. It is terribly impressive to do it at home in front of the entire Swedish people.

He is impressed by the company.

– It’s a new sport for her. She was one of the world’s best cross -country skiers and now she is the best in the world again. She shows what she can and it is sickly impressive.

Nilsson was, as Nykvist mentioned, one of the world’s best cross -country skiers – then she took the step over to biathlon and later long race. Nykvist has previously commented on Nilsson’s choice to quit with biathlon, then he was aware that he would rather see her continue as a biathlon, the noises still apply today.

– I see how happy she is now and how terribly good she is doing all the time and what an impressive venture she has made. But I should be honest that I think it is a pity that she does not go biathlon, but at the same time I see that this is what suits her best.

The change of sport means that the couple has not been able to spend as much time together. Nykvist comments on how the distance works.

– No, but I think it goes well actually. We can keep in touch on the phone so it goes well.
