The boy is still seriously injured after the violent act in Västerås

In the act of violence in Västerås on April 19, a teenage boy was beaten to death at a bus stop outside Rudbeckianska high school. He is still being treated in hospital with serious injuries.

Treated in two hospitals

In an initial stage, Region Västmanland reported that the boy was slightly injured, but now plaintiff’s assistant Caroline Fagerberg confirms that the injuries are serious. He has been treated in two different hospitals. The relatives say via the plaintiff’s counsel that they do not yet know what long-term consequences the injuries may have.

Serious violent crime on Oxbacken in Västerås

    The perpetrator also attacked three elderly women on the same day. The women have returned home from the hospital, but it is unclear if any of them have sustained physical injuries.

    The suspected perpetrator was later shot by police in connection with a dramatic arrest in a residential area.
