The regional military administration has according to The Kyiv Independent stated that some villages now resemble Bachmut and Marinka, which were bombed into ruins earlier during the war.
Local authorities also claim that as many as 500 attacks can occur a day. At least five people have died from the airstrikes during the month of March. Earlier this week was evacuated around 200 people from the northern part of the region.

Recently, Ukrainian President Zelenskyi drew attention to the attacks, stating that Russia dropped about 200 guided bombs over the region in March.
