Big names, big budgets and big stories: Blockbusters no longer only take place on the big screen, but also on home screens. Dwayne Johnson brings his next action thriller to Amazon, while Brad Pitt and George Clooney meet on Apple TV+ for the first time in over a decade.

Even the Beverly Hills Cop no longer investigates in the cinema. Instead, Eddie Murphy has taken up residence under the Netflix umbrella to expose corruption within his police force. You see: in 2024 the streamers will bring out some big guns to win new subscribers.

As it has now emerged after the release of the trailer, the streaming service is only releasing the film as an original in the USA, Great Britain, Australia, New Zealand, Iceland, Hong Kong, Indonesia, India, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea and Vietnam. When and how the film will be released in Germany is again unclear for the time being.
