Avengers doomsday medieval period

First thing that interests us, it is obviously the rendering of Dr Doom (Fatalis en VF) which will be embodied by Robert Downey Jr in the MCU. It is an isolated story where Dr Doom precisely takes the place of Iron Man in a parallel universe, in the absence of Tony Stark. But let’s go back to what we are interested in here, the look of Dr Doom, very well drawn and which reveals a good bad-ass. We see him sitting on a throne (as in Secret Wars), endowed with his very well decomposed armor, with a mask that draws a severe face and reveals disturbing green eyes. Its cape is a mixture of canvas and fur which gives it consistency and appearance.
On another visual, we see our Dr. Doom, always sitting since his throne, with a white outfit like that of the Secret Wars comic, and accompanied by several of his subjects. We clearly see Dr Strange (with the face of Benedict Cumberbatch) on his right, dressed in a long dress, while in his right, we discover a woman with a queen’s outfit and a young boy, also with noble inhabitants. If we base ourselves on what is happening in the events of the Secret Wars comic book, it would therefore be Sue Storm with which he had a child. We are in the multifovers I remind you. In comics, a young girl is Valeria, but here it would be a boy. Faced with Dr. Doom, we can see a kneeling and especially chained man, and according to some fans, it could be Reed Richards, our fantastic MR, kept in captivity by a young woman that many considers to be Yelena Belova, the new Black Widow and sister of Natasha Romanoff. But what attracts attention above all is the decor. We are certainly in a castle (as is often the case with Dr Doom), but paying attention to the outfits of the other drawn characters, we are clearly in another era, undoubtedly the Middle Ages, or a version of the alternative and medieval world. This also corresponds to the latest statements by the Russo brothers, the directors of the next two Avengers, who admitted that they left for something more radical, that they wish above all to surprise Marvel fans. Place Avengers Doomsday in a mediaval setting and introduce us Robert Downey Jr / Dr Doom into lord of this world, it is obviously a choice that is both surprising, cheeky and radical. Here, we validate at 3000%.
Another concept art, taking up this medieval theme, appears with the Hulk clan, visibly under alert. We see Smart Hulk, She-Hulk (with the face of Tatania Maslary) and another Hulk, injured with an arrow in the liver, who came alerted from a probable threat. Again, they are in medieval style outfit and the backdrop at the back is no doubt at this choice of a really well chosen period. With the famous Battleworld of Secret Wars, which is a planet recomposed by fragments of other worlds from several parallel universes according to the BD, it is obviously the best way to leave free rein to its imagination.
From T’Challa in T’Chanda
Besides, the character of Black Panther also appears in these images which have leaké, with several versions of his costume. The file mentions the name of T’Chanda, also known as Azzuri, and which was none other than Black Panther during the Second World War. By evoking the powers of Sue Storm, another concept art allows us to see that it is capable of creating protective fields of course, but also of echo-localizing its enemies, which is quite clever as an asset added in the film.
Another series of sketches allow us to have an overview of the female version of the Silver surf, which will be embodied by Julia Garner on the screen, and absent from the first trailer. Its appearance looks in all respects that of the original silver surfing, which suggests that it is an alternative version, before we can have the real silver surfing in the MCU timeline.
Quill and chill
But it is not over, since there were also images of the Vision Quest series, whose shooting has not yet been determined. But we know that it will stage the White Vision which fled at the end of the Wandavision series, and which suddenly allows vision to return to life in a way. On the Leakées images, we see that he became friends with Peter Quill, who seems to appreciate life on earth.
