The big update to Palworld has been on Steam for a week now – This is what the fans say

The latest Palworld update has been released and has brought a lot of new content for players. Player reactions have been mostly positive so far, despite some reported bugs.

What kind of update is this? The latest Palworld update Sakurajima was released on June 27th and brought a lot of new content for players. The biggest change is probably the new island, which also brings new Pals to the world of Palworld.

After players feared before the update that it would also include purchasable skins in the game, the update seems to have been well received so far.

The PvP mode is well received by players

How are fans reacting to the update? After the initial feedback from many players was positive shortly after the update, the positive mood continues even a week after the update. One of the biggest changes was the PvP arena, where you can compete against other players with your pals.

Player Taridium shares his experience in the arena on Reddit. Although he is destroyed by his opponent within a very short time, he finds the new arena to be absolutely fun and entertaining.

Other users also see this as a good sign. User Metal_Sign says in his post on Reddit: You know it’s good when someone posts with that title and the clip shows them getting destroyed.

Many other players also seem to be happy about the new update. User Kazoorion posted a meme on Reddit to coincide with the update’s release, showing Palworld players throwing away their old Pals like toys, as there are now some new Pals. With over 500 upvotes, many players seem to agree.

Are there any negative comments about the new update? So far, there isn’t much negative to say about the new update, and overall, it seems to be well received by players. What you do find, however, are a few posts about bugs that the new update seems to have brought with it.

For example, the user Minecrafthungary shared a screenshot on Reddit that shows that his world is bugged. The annoying thing about this is that he is in the water at this point, has hardly any stamina left and doesn’t seem to have any way of getting to land before he dies.

He seems to not be alone with this problem. User PseudoNym52 responded to him and said that this is exactly the reason why he set it so that he doesn’t lose anything from his inventory when he dies.

Palworld was very successful shortly after its release, but soon after it had to deal with a sharp drop in player numbers. Even though the new update has increased player numbers again, they are no comparison to the numbers immediately after the release.
