Charlotte Baris: If there’s one thing fiction writers love more than anything, it’s stories about rich families and wealth wars. The 80s saw the emergence of cult series like Dallas And Dynasty. In France, in recent years, Ten percent started with the death of a character and the squabble between his heirs and more recently, the American platform HBO received multiple awards thanks to the series Succession.
The story we are telling you today could also be the subject of a television series, it is so romantic. This series would be set in large properties hidden in the Andalusian countryside and in the Valais mountains, in Switzerland. At the center of the scenario: an iconic French luxury brand, a deeply divided family and a couple of suitors who could change the future of the company forever. This story is not – for the moment – the subject of an adaptation, but it was told by two journalists from L’Express in the latest issue of the magazine.
