Watch in the video when the new pedestrian and bicycle bridge over the E16 ends up in place.
– It’s awesome when the big crane truck is running and lifting everything into place, says Jan Enbom, project manager at the Swedish Transport Administration for the construction of the new exit and access road at the E16 in Sandviken.
The bridge was built in Poland and shipped in one piece to Sandviken. Today, staff from the Polish company were on site to assemble the 30 meter long bridge.
Although the bridge was lifted into place on Wednesday, it will take until the end of next week for all the work to be completed on the assembly.
