You have probably known and loved the Big Bang Theory for years under exactly this name. It also fits perfectly to the content of the sitcom, which is primarily about nerds like Sheldon (Jim Parsons). But actually both Sheldon and The Big Bang Theory should are very different.

Kenny is today’s Sheldon. It should actually be called Kenny instead of Sheldon. From today’s perspective, this is hard to imagine because we know the figure after all these years (and the spinoff series Young Sheldon) under this name.
Obviously, those responsible behind The Big Bang Theory have a better prudence, said goodbye to the rhyme scheme and also the Name from Kenny to Sheldon changed. Leonard was also lucky not to be called Lenny.
