There is no end in sight for the series universe of The Walking Dead. Following the finale of the original series, the zombie saga continues with three new spin-offs. Today, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, the return of fan favorite Norman Reedus, finally starts in Germany.

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon shows the zombie apocalypse from a whole new side

The Walking Dead universe has existed for 13 years now. However, the new spin-off series shows us for the first time the effects and outbreak of the zombie apocalypse outside the USA. Daryl Dixon unexpectedly goes to France, where he now finds himself in American factories and forests impressive landscapes, castles and even the Eiffel Tower visited.

Why France of all places? This is just one of the many mysteries that will be solved over the course of Season 1. At the side of the two fighting nuns Isabelle (Harry Potter 4-Star Clémence Poésy) and Sylvie (Laïka Blanc-Francard) as well as the child prodigy Laurent (Louis Puech Scigliuzzi), Daryl begins an adventurous road trip that takes him from the coast of Marseilles via Paris leads all the way to Normandy.

The world of The Walking Dead shows a completely different side with Daryl Dixon. The unusual setting contains types of zombies that have never been seen before.

Not only the critics are enthusiastic, but also the fans: The Daryl series has an IMDB rating of 7.7 currently the best-rated The Walking Dead spin-off and thus trumps all four previous offshoots.

When and where can I stream the new The Walking Dead series?

All 6 episodes of the first season of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon have been available since December 8th on Magenta TV ready for retrieval. A second season is already in production and will be shown in 2024.

Magenta TV also offers the anthology spin-off Tales of the Walking Dead and the Maggie Negan series The Walking Dead: Dead City. The original series, however, streams all 11 seasons on Netflix, Prime Video and Disney+.
