Palworld has launched on Steam and Xbox. We’ll tell you which graphics settings you can use to get the most out of the survival game.
Palworld, a new game, has launched on Steam and Xbox where you can collect so-called Pals. But the Unreal Engine used requires a lot of power so that the game runs properly. MeinMMO introduces you to settings with which you can improve your performance.
Palworld: The best graphics settings on PC
The following settings are the best balance between quality and performance. Please note that you can only use DLSS with an Nvidia graphics card. If you have a powerful gaming PC, you can increase the settings accordingly.
We set the maximum FPS to 60 FPS because the game runs most stable this way. Some users and colleagues report that the graphics card immediately runs at maximum capacity without an FPS limit. You can prevent this by setting the FPS limit. This also protects your GPU.
Tip: Anti-aliasing is grayed out under certain circumstances (such as high presets). To do this, switch to “Custom” and you can also edit anti-aliasing.

Enable DLSS: With DLSS you can significantly increase your performance on the PC, but you definitely need an Nvidia graphics card. With DLSS you can choose both performance and quality. With performance you get an average of 20 FPS more, with quality the picture looks better.
AMD’s alternative FSR is not (yet) integrated into Palworld. We can’t tell you whether the technology will come in the future. If there is new information, we will update our article.
A notice: Some players report that DLSS is not available in the “Game Pass” version and is grayed out. However, DLSS can be used with the Steam version.
What has the biggest impact on performance? Texture quality has the most impact on performance. If you have a weaker graphics card or little video memory (VRAM), then turn down the settings.
Anti-aliasing is also performance-hungry, but ensures rounder and nicer edges in the game. If you have a weak GPU, we recommend temporal anti-aliasing (TAA), but then the game will look slightly washed out but run more smoothly.
How else can you increase FPS? If you have very poor performance, we recommend that you reduce the resolution. Then your computer has to calculate less.
