Last year turned out Star Wars: Andor as a big surprise. The two-season prequel series to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story impressed with its characters and its different, dark story. While Disney+ series like Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett or Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi fell short of expectations, most people can hardly wait for Cassian Andor (Diego Luna) to return. However, this reunion will most likely take place later than expected.

In the editorial ranking of the best series of 2022, Andor came out on top and in our comparison of the Star Wars series it also takes first place. The sci-fi adventure published on Disney+ * accompanies Cassian, who reluctantly becomes a rebel leader, in his quest Fight against the Empire. Seasons 1 and 2 should span four years. But do we have to wait just as long for the sequel?

As Comic Book now reports, Star Wars: Andor makes a surprise appearance not on Disney’s recently revealed 2024 release schedule on. That means we can probably do it at the earliest 2025 expect the revolution to continue.

In 2022, each new episode of Season 1 elicited increasingly enthusiastic responses. According to /Film, series creator Tony Gilroy also wants to work on his season 2 “Attention to detail” hold on, even if Cassian Andor “less doubt” in his role as a revolutionary. Additionally, Season 2 will arrive at the time of Rogue One. Then Andor will hopefully once again show what a Star War series can be: cinematic, creative, dark and political.
