That’s why we chose it: The Alienware AW3423DWF is a curved UWQHD monitor (3,440 x 1,440) with QD-OLED. The monitor offers an 1800R curvature, a peak brightness of 1,000 cd/m² and a refresh rate of 165 Hz.
The monitor impresses with its high brightness and excellent response times. Our German colleagues at Prad attested in their test that the monitor has very good image quality, absolute black levels and very good viewing angle stability.
There is criticism, above all, of unsightly color fringes in texts and image errors such as ghosting, which only no longer occur at high Hertz rates. Additional functions such as speakers or USB-C are also missing. According to rtings, there is also noticeable VVR flickering if your gaming PC cannot maintain a stable frame rate.
