Prehistoric Planet – S02 Teaser Trailer (English) HD

A Planet Before Time is like an animal documentary with intricately recreated dinosaurs

The series takes you back to a time 66 million years ago, when huge (and small) prehistoric creatures roamed the earth. The documentary observes the everyday life of the dinosaurs in the late Cretaceous period, i.e. shortly before their extinction. Popular species such as the Tyrannosaurus rex or Velociraptor are shown, as well as lesser-known creatures such as the Tarbosaurus. How do dinosaurs spend their everyday lives, how do they live, how do they eat, how do they take care of their offspring? Based on up-to-date scientific knowledge, the animals are recreated with photo-realistic computer effects.

Of particular interest to dinosaur fans is the fact that some of the dinosaurs are also depicted with feathers, which has so far hardly been represented in popular films and series. So if you couldn’t get enough of the impressive primeval prologue to the otherwise disappointing Jurassic World 3: A New Age, or devoured Dinosaurs – Realm of the Giants, you can watch it with a clear conscience.

If you watch the original, you can look forward to animal film icon David Attenborough (Our Planet) as the narrator. Hans Zimmer collaborated on the music.

When is A Planet Before Time coming to Apple TV+?

A Planet Before Time is being produced for the Apple TV+ streaming service. There you could already watch the five-episode first season. Season 2 will then start on May 22, 2023.
