Higher, faster, further – these are the new movement features
Fortnite has come a long way. Where previously you could only run and duck, you now also have the option of sliding across the ground or diving over low obstacles. But that’s not all, Chapter 6 brings a whole new batch of ninja-inspired moves into the game!

Pike jump: If you jump while sprinting and are close to an edge, you are leading one Pike jump out of! This allows you to jump higher and further, allowing you to reach places that would otherwise not be accessible to you (without building).
Roll landing: Whenever you hold down the jump button or press it briefly just before hitting the ground, you do a cool roll to land. This looks great and also regenerates some stamina!
Wall step: If you jump into a vertical surface next to you, a wall kick will occur! So you push off and can theoretically jump to another wall and jump off again from there using a wall kick. Climb to unreachable heights and confuse your opponents!
Wall race: However, if you jump onto a vertical surface directly in front of you, you perform a wall running action! So your character runs straight up the wall and if you can pull yourself up on the ledge, then this happens automatically. Alternatively, you can also perform a wall kick from the wall run.
All of these new movement options finally make Fortnite a fast and fast-paced action title that doesn’t need to hide from the competition.

As is usual with Fortnite, at the start of a new chapter there is a completely new map with fresh locations to explore. This time, true to the theme, the map is full of places that are reminiscent of the culture and mythology of Japan.
So look forward to picturesque cherry trees in the “Nightshift Forest”, urban settings in “Seaport City” and the hidden mountain fortress “Demon’s Dojo”.
Visit the toad! Places that clearly have a tendency to the supernatural are particularly cool here. One place in particular stands out where you can find the large tortoise. This powerful reptile is looking for his mate and who knows what else the developers have in store for this story?

Face the final boss: There are also powerful AI enemies, including the powerful demon warrior Shogun X. If you kill him, you will receive the coveted Wanderer Medallion. This will make you the ultimate ninja, giving you infinite stamina and becoming invisible when sprinting.
Another strong enemy is Nightrose, who haunts you from another dimension. If you defeat them despite all their deviousness, you will receive a medallion that ensures that your weapons reload automatically.
And as befits the Japan theme, really big creatures shouldn’t be missing. So take yourselves Watch out for the ultimate kaiju monster, Godzilla, who will arrive on the island later in the season!

In the new chapter there are a lot of new weapons to master.
Better meetings thanks to Hitscan: By the way, all regular firearms in Chapter 6 use a hitscan hit model. So you don’t have to go through the hassle of waiting and estimating the projectile trajectory, but rather you can simply start shooting as soon as an enemy appears!
Bring a sword to the gunfight! In keeping with the theme, there is also a melee weapon called “Typhoon Blades”. While equipped, you will sprint faster and use less stamina. Ideal for either getting away quickly or getting into close combat quickly.
These are the new masks: If you prefer to dismantle enemies with magic, then the new demon masks are your thing. If you defeat lesser demons on the island, you can take their masks. The fire mask gives you strong ranged attacks, while the mask of the void enables teleportation.
Use the power of spirits: Magic is everywhere on the new map and that’s why you’ll often meet cute nature spirits. You can throw them, for example to throw opponents (or yourself) into the air or to create healing sources. You can also take the spirits to special shrines and receive additional bonuses.
