We can no longer count the hairdressing salons that flourish in every village and town in France (sometimes with “approximate” names). But among them, certain major brands are known to all French people: Franck Provost, Jean-Louis David, Dessange, Saint Algue… With a difference in customer satisfaction? It would seem.
A ranking established on Google reviews
To form an informed opinion on customer satisfaction, Vasano Solution, an e-reputation specialist, undertook to examine the opinions of Internet users left on Google Business Profile sheets, for the second edition of its “L’Enseigne la best rated on Google.
The company has thus identified the notes filed with hairdressing salons which have at least 100 establishments in France. And do the counting.
Franck Provost, voted best hair salon in 2024 by his ratings
Verdict? This is how Franck Provost would be the best hair salon franchise of 2024. The salon was rated with an average rating of 4.65/5 by the 39,398 reviews left about it between January 1 and 31. last December 2023. A great reward for the man who opened his first salon in 1975 before becoming the hairdresser to the stars but also to all women, as he likes to say. His name is now present in 687 salons, based in 30 countries around the world.
But the other “big” salons, such as Jean-Louis David and Dessange, are close behind Franck Provost with a tied score: 4.59/5.
The study specifies, however, that it only took into account customer reviews on social networks and the internet, and only covered hair salon “chains”, excluding many other reputable salons. There is therefore no need to change creameries (or salons) when you are satisfied with them. After all, the best hairdresser is still the one you trust to take care of your hair.
