The best flying mounts for every level – Here you can find the flying animals

In Palworld there are over 100 different Pals who do various jobs or serve as mounts. But which Pals are the best flight mounts at each level?

Palworld’s map isn’t exactly small and exploring the map is an integral part of the survival game’s gameplay loop. If you want to travel the entire map on foot, you will be taking a long and difficult route.

In addition, you can only reach certain places such as the nature reserves by water. A good flying mount is definitely useful if you want to make progress in Palworld.

On MeinMMO you can find out what the best flying mounts are at each level in Palworld.

Palworld: The best flying mounts per level

What are the best flying animals for each level? By far the best flying mount in Palworld is Jetragon, but you can only ride it from level 50. In our overview you can see which Pals you should fly until Jetragon is activated.

  • Level 15 to 20 – Nitewing (Normal)
  • Level 21 to 33 – Vanwyrm (Fire Shadow)
  • Level 34 to 37 – Beakon (Electric)
  • Level 38 to 49 – Faleris (Fire)
  • From level 50 – Jetragon (Dragon)
  • Why are these the best flying mounts for each level? Nitewing is characterized by neither high stamina nor good flying speed, but the bird is the first flying mount you can get and therefore there is no way around it in the first 20 levels.

However, at level 21, the Nitewing is replaced by Vanwyrm. Vanwyrm is only slightly faster than the bird, but you will still notice a difference. Vanwyrm also performs better in combat and is a solid choice as a fire-shadow pal for the second tower boss duo Lily & Lyleen.

From level 34 to level 37 you should use the Electro-Pal Beakon. That’s a bit faster than Vanwyrm.

The Reddit user Aiming4Gaming0 recommends the shadow pal Helzephyr between Vanwyrm and Beakon, but you need high-quality metal bars for its saddle. In order to produce high-quality metal ingots, you need an improved blast furnace, which you can only learn at level 34. The Beakon saddle will be available to you there. We therefore recommend skipping Helzephyr if you don’t really want it.

At level 37 you could switch to Ragnahawk for a short time, but just one level later (at level 38) Faleris is the better choice. If you are stingy and want to save resources, wait for one level. The same applies to Frostalion/Frostalion Noct. You can learn the saddle from level 48, but Jetragon is the better choice from level 50 due to its significantly higher speed. Here you could save resources again.

The locations of Palworld’s best flying mounts

Where do you find the best flying mounts? We have made you a map on which you can see the locations of the 5 Pals, which we have chosen as the best flying mounts depending on your level.

Since you can only catch Jetragon in a boss fight, you should prepare accordingly before flying to the location of the legendary dragon. You and your pals should be level 50 – or at least close to it. On top of that, it is recommended to insert Ice Pals to cause very effective damage.

Jetragon is not only the fastest flying mount in Palworld, but is also one of the 10 strongest Pals for combat.
