The best fantasy film of the year so far which

Launched in the context of strong cinema competition such as John Wick: Chapter 4 or The Super Mario Bros. film, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves with Chris Pine and Michelle Rodriguez, which opened on March 30th, attracted relatively few viewers to the cinemas.

There are at least three good reasons why the fantasy adventure film is really worth watching. Now you can vote for the “best film of the year” according to your own presentation on the occasion of the Home theater release on June 15th pre-order from Amazon on normal Blu-ray *, in 4K/UHD *, on DVD * and as a stream on Prime *.

This is what Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves offers

Based on the universe of the famous role-playing game Dungeons & Dragons, Honor Among Thieves is like a mix of Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and Gladiator with lots of action and wit. A charming thief gathers a band of misfits on an epic quest to recover a lost relic. However, as usual, things don’t go as they should when the heroes mess with the wrong people.

While it hasn’t even grossed $200 million at the box office worldwide (via boxofficemojo.com), the film currently has a solid 7.2 rating from the Moviepilot community. The colleagues from Filmstarts also gave a good 3.5 out of 5 stars and sum up: “This could be the start of something really big!”. Anyone who hasn’t seen the film yet or would like to take it home after going to the cinema can confidently grab it now.

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves also features a cameo guest appearance by a Hollywood star that probably few fans of the fantasy series expected. If you are interested in cool merchandise from the film, you can currently also get a suitable, ultra-realistic dragon figure for your home.
