The best DC series after which we don’t even need Henry Cavill’s Superman

For years, fans have been asking for more Superman movies starring Henry Cavill. In the DC series universe of The CW, a new series has started in 2021, which for many a more than reasonable substitute is.

From today you can also watch Superman & Lois on German free TV. Kabel eins is broadcasting the first season of the series about Clark Kent aka Superman (Tyler Hoechlin) and Lois Lane (Elizabeth Tulloch) as parents Saturdays with 3 episodes in a row out. Many even celebrate the Arrowverse offshoot as the best DC series to date.

Superman & Lois gets a lot of praise

A Supergirl spin-off, Clark and Lois must care for their teenage sons Jonathan (Jordan Elsass) and Jordan (Alexander Garfin) in their DC series. Of course, the question arises whether the children of the Man of Steel too Inherited superpowers from father to have.

At Metacritic, Superman & Lois is one of the best DC series with a user score of 7.1. In addition to articles from sites like CBR that work with superlatives throwing around, there are also very positive voices for Superman & Lois in the Moviepilot community. For example, Chris4068 gives 8.5 points and writes:

I like to repeat myself the best superhero series so far that I was allowed to see. Great actors and without any colorful nonsense! I’m already looking forward to the next season, should there be one?

After Superman & Lois season 1, the future of the DC series is assured. After 2 seasons so far, there is one 3rd season already ordered.
