Since the first pandemic summer in 2020, Ted Lasso has softened the hearts of series and football fans. The comedy from Apple TV+ triggered a hype that hardly any other series in this genre can match. Netflix or Amazon would do anything for such a success.
And in Germany, the award-winning Ted Lasso is still relatively unknown. Maybe that will change in Season 3.

Ted Lasso Season 3 Trailer 1 (English) HD
What is Ted Lasso about? Recently divorced from her husband, Rebecca Welton (Hannah Waddingham) is the new owner of Premier League football club AFC Richmond. To get revenge on her ex, she wants to ruin the club and hires American football coach Ted Lasso (Jason Sudeikis) from Kansas, Texas, who most recently coached the Wichita State Shockers football team.
Ted knows nothing about football or British culture. But that doesn’t stop him from convincing his new team around players Roy Kent (Brett Goldstein) and Jamie Tartt (Phil Dunster) with his unshakable optimism and charm.
When does Ted Lasso season 3 start? And does it continue after that?
The 3rd and possibly final season of Ted Lasso is on from March 15th weekly on Apple TV+. An extension beyond Season 3 is reportedly currently being discussed. However, new episodes were written with a finale in mind.
