Niklas Agerberg was sitting in the car on his way to work early one morning.
When he looked into the forest, he saw something unexpected.
– It was sick, surreal, I thought it was a person at first, but it wasn’t.
Niklas Agerberg was sitting in the car on his way to work in Mockfjärd in Gagnef municipality when a figure in the forest caught his attention, which SVT Dalarna was the first to report on.
At first he thought it was a human, but on closer inspection he saw that it was a large and tired bear sitting and sleeping leaning against a tree.
– It was delicious, it was. It was insanely delicious, he says in Efter fem.
“Itchy like Daddy Baloo”
Niklas managed to capture everything on film, when the bear first sits and sleeps, then wakes up and yawns. He describes the scenes from the car.
– He stretched and scratched himself like daddy Baloo, then he walked around and messed around and looked for something good to eat and put in his stomach, some breakfast.
Encountering a bear can be scary, but Niklas felt safe because he was in the car.
– I felt quite safe. If I had opened the window and he had smelled something, then maybe he would have perked up faster and run away a bit, but I didn’t have any windows open, he probably just heard the car and wondered what kind of cuckoo I was.
“I must apologize for my language”
In the video, Niklas’ reactions can be heard from the car: “But go to hell. Isn’t that a fucking bear bastard? Look. What the fuck?” he says, filming the bear.
– I have to apologize for my language, says Niklas now in Efter fem.
