The beaches of embarkation relates the daily life of migrants

In 2022, it is estimated that 45,000 migrants attempted to cross the Channel to go to the United Kingdom where, unlike France, they do not need papers to work. The France book of the week, Les Plages de l’embarkation is an account of the daily life of these migrants (Afghans, Sudanese, Iraqis, Kurds, Iranians…). For seven years, Julien Goudichaud remained at their side, until he too undertook the crossing aboard one of these boats.
