BK Häcken is ready for the Europa League playoffs, after beating Zalgiris 5-0. The victory also means that they have secured a place in the European group stage for the autumn – and at least SEK 50 million.
There was never any talk at Hisingen. Newly acquired Srdjan Hrstic scored 1-0 in the first half. In the second, things really loosened up and the final score over two games was 8-1 to Häcken.
Now they have secured a place in the Conference League’s group stage and at least SEK 50 million. But the chance for EL group play is there, as Aberdeen awaits in the playoffs.
