In Yazd, Iran, an 11-year-old boy punched the boxing bag hanging from the ceiling, while the metal hook holding the big bag fell and stuck in the boy’s genitals.
The boy and his family rushed to Yazd Shahid Sadoughi university hospital to remove the metal hook that pierced the skin of the genitals. Doctors did not explain exactly how the accident happened.
MIRACLELY NOT DAMAGED
The curved hook pierced from the underside of the scrotum to the top of his penis, and the sharp tip protruded from the bladder area. The child, writhing in pain, rushed to the hospital with his family.
Doctors were able to remove the hook with only anesthesia, without the need for surgery. He stated that he was very lucky that the child’s genitals were not damaged in any way after the operation. The child, who stayed in the hospital for 6 days, recovered completely within two weeks.
