It’s about the website folkhalsaochsjukvard.rjl.se, which Digg doesn’t think is clear enough. Among other things, all functions on the web page must be accessible via a desktop, all web pages must have a title that describes the page’s topic or purpose, and all content that the user can navigate to with a keyboard must come in a meaningful order. That is not the case today, the supervisor shows.
Welcome review
Elin Carlholt, communications manager for Region Jönköping County, says that the review is welcome.
– We have clear guidelines for how our websites should look and we want to follow the existing laws. Therefore, we think it is good and welcome this review by the authority for digital administration. We then use the report we receive and make an action plan from it to ensure that we become better and as accessible as we want to be to our various target groups, she says.
Random sample of websites
Elin Carlholt says that Digg does random samples of different websites, but they don’t know why they chose to review theirs in particular. She says that the website is important for healthcare workers in the county.
– It is for professionals and is an important channel for our employees in health and medical care, but also partners such as municipalities and private advisers, says Elin Carlholt.
