The search for missing Essie has become a race against time.
Now the family is offering SEK 100,000 to whoever finds their assistance dog.

Essie the labrador would go out and pee on Santa in Enköping. Since then she has not been seen.
Now a week and a half has passed and the family is becoming increasingly desperate to get daughter Amanda’s assistance dog home.
The original find reward of 20,000 was first raised to 50,000. Now it is doubled.
– We hope and believe that she is still close to us and can be discovered by someone, says father Patrik.

Essie’s disappearance has sparked huge engagement. At the time of writing, the Facebook group “Essie ska hem” has almost 20,000 members – but despite this, the family has made no progress in the search.
– She can be just about anywhere, says Patrik.
Now they hope that the commitment can be even greater.
Anyone who sees something of interest is asked to contact the Facebook group or contact the police on 114 14. Essie is a black Labrador, but can be recognized by a missing front tooth.
– That is the best characteristic, says Patrik Ölmeborg.
Not told the daughter: “I wonder when she will come home”
Essie specializes in mental health and has been Amanda’s support for a year. But the family has not yet dared to tell the daughter that Essie is missing – but instead said that she is in hospital.
– She feels bad and has a stomach ache. She wonders when she will get home and what will happen. But I also understand that we have to tell soon. But we’ll see exactly how we do it, he says.
