Christina Qvick-Ängström was active as a textile artist for many years, but has switched to collage in recent years.
– When I moved home to Bergsjö and retired, I felt that I wanted to switch to a technology that is more manageable, she says.
Christina Quick-Engström’s art is represented in many municipalities and regions’ art collections. But it is extra nervous to exhibit in your hometown.
– Christina Qvick-Engström is a well-known and appreciated textile artist who in recent years has been working with collage, where pieces of images are cut and assembled into a completely new image that arises in a light kaleidoscopic creation process that results in a completely new exciting visual experience, says Jöran Österman, who runs Häktet.
