French authorities have pursued the founder of the Telegram messaging service Pavel Durovin detention until at least Wednesday, legal sources say.
Durov was arrested at an airport near Paris late Saturday. Durov is suspected of not having taken steps to limit the criminal use of his messaging service.
Telegram responded to the arrest of its leader by saying that Durov has nothing to hide and travels frequently in Europe.
