The Kurdish armed organization PKK has claimed responsibility for the terrorist attack that took place in Ankara, the capital of Turkey, on Wednesday.
Five people were killed in the attack, including the taxi driver. In addition, 22 people were wounded.
President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said earlier that Syrian forces were behind the terrorist attack. Turkey says it has struck several PKK targets in Iraq.
The PKK started an armed struggle against the Turkish state more than 40 years ago. Turkey, the EU and the United States have defined the PKK as a terrorist organization.
