The Battle of Adventure competition got an extra spice this year. The track stretched over a large part of the area including the quite steep slag heap in parts.
– Now the spark plug has possibly soured. I’m on my way to get a spark plug wrench, says Kenth Nilsson, who is leading on a dead end.
On two wheels indoors
When the engine came to life, the journey also continued inside buildings and set up containers belonging to a paintball field. The drivers would complete the course in under four and a half hours. The winner was the one who completed five laps, without breaking, in the shortest time.
– It is sometimes very slow going up and down steep stairs. So it’s very special, says Alexander Larsson from Grängesberg.
