The domestic dispute between KD party leader Ebba Busch and an elderly man is over. In March, he appealed the Svea Court of Appeal’s decision to deny him leave to appeal regarding the sale of a house to Busch, but now he has chosen to withdraw his appeal.

The Supreme Court therefore dismisses the case, which means that the Court of Appeal’s decision gains legal force and that the settlement that the parties previously agreed on stands.

The house dispute over a plot of land outside Uppsala has been going on since August 2020. In October last year, Busch and the husband entered into a settlement regarding the sale. The man later claimed he was forced to sign the agreement, which led to another series of legal outings. He has also claimed that at the time of the original sale he felt pressured and later regretted the deal.

Ebba Busch has always claimed that everything went right and that she was “extremely meticulous” about the settlement.
