The Antikrundan profile leaves after 35 years – saws the

It was in 1989 that “Antikrundan” first saw the light of day on SVT. Based on the British ‘Antiques Roadshow’, the program has been on the air for a total of 35 seasons and over the years viewers have seen countless objects and values.

Many of the experts in the program have become popular profiles. Not least because several of them have been in the TV box for many years.

Earlier this year, it was clear that the long-time expert Claes Moser recording its final season this year. In an interview with The evening paper stated Moser that he was not completely satisfied with how the program developed.

– It is clear that I have views on the program which I think is a little too freed from knowledge. The essence of “Antikrundan” is that it is a knowledge program and not that it will be another show of flame and laughter. I think that they have lost the value aspect and the explanation in the objects quite a bit. It was better before.

Now it turns out that another veteran in the “Antikrundan” context is leaving the program – after a full 35 years as an expert. It is Jan Ribbhagenspecialist in antique silver and jewels, who thanks himself.

And the fact is that it is a specific event that forms the basis of the decision.

– I made a recording with an old man who had a silver bowl from the 16th century, which is incredibly rare. Everything went great and I thought of course this had to come along. When we got together after this year’s recordings, it wasn’t included. I asked why and then got the answer “but the old man was so boring”. What a damn attitude! That’s when I decided, now I’m screwing this up, he tells Aftonbladet.

Just like Claes Moser, Ribbhagen has views on the program’s development.

– Everything is so ridiculous. It’s the stuff it’s supposed to be about, but over time it’s gotten worse and worse and it’s just a lot of fucking waiting in queues instead of showing off the products. The program has changed genres and then I don’t want to be part of it anymore. I can’t stand for it, he tells her the newspaperwhich also applied

Who will replace Ribbhagen is still unclear.
