The Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania trailer is here and everyone is celebrating the grand entrance of Thanos’ successor, Kang (Jonathan Majors). Compared to another Marvel villain announced for the film, though, he’s a favorite son-in-law. One looks in vain for the bizarre MODOK in the trailer. Where is he?

MODOK is an ex-employee of a weapons manufacturer who is equipped with incredible intelligence through genetic experiments. Simultaneously but they also cause an immense deformation of his head and make him extremely megalomaniac. The villain has previously appeared in the Marvel TV series Marvel’s MODOK.

Early Ant-Man 3 clips, presented at Disney’s D23 convention, for example, also featured MODOK. Now he is not visible, which can have two reasons. On the one hand, there were strong negative reactions to the leaked new MODOK design (via Comicbook ) and the character could still be remodeled on the computer at the moment. On the other hand, the trailer should anticipate Kang’s big screen appearance. Another, much stranger villain would probably only have interfered.

Hopefully it won’t be long before we finally see MODOK. Apart from further trailers, it will be at the latest when Ant-Man 3 is released in cinemas February 14, 2023 so far.
