The last fractious “quarter” between Harris and Trump is underway, but for the American basketball professionals Dwight Wilson III and Tahlik Chavez in the Köping Stars, there is more focus on life in Sweden – and the next basketball game.
– We focus mostly on basketball and have fun where we are in the moment, says Tahlik Chavez.
– You can’t get caught up in what’s happening over there so you miss living here in another country with a different culture. We are where our feet are right now,” said Dwight Wilson III.
No worries after the Capitol riot
After the last presidential election, the Capitol was stormed by Trump supporters, but Dwight Wilson III and Tahlik Chavez are not too worried about another scandal of the same dignity.
– People will be upset no matter what. But the US has a history of learning from tragedy such as 9/11. Hopefully they have prepared so nothing like this can happen again, says Dwight Wilson III.
– But you never know; The US can be a pretty crazy place sometimes. Hopefully security has been increased, says Tahlik Chavez.
