(Finance) – The Wall Street stock exchange confirms little movement, at the halfway point of the session, which continues the session at the levels of the day before, with the Dow Jones which stops at 38,079 points; on the same line, colorless theS&P-500, which continues the session at 4,886 points, on the previous day’s levels. Just below par Nasdaq 100 (-0.58%); almost unchangedS&P 100 (-0.14%).
In December, PCE inflation, the measure of underlying inflation closely watched by the Federal Reserve, fell below 3% for the first time since February 2021, reinforcing bets that the central bank could start cutting rates in the first half of this year.
Positive result in the S&P 500 basket for sectors healthcare (+0.58%), secondary consumer goods (+0.51%) e office consumables (+0.43%). The sector informaticswith its -1.10%, is the worst of the market.
At the top of the rankings American giants components of the Dow Jones, American Express (+6.29%), Nike (+1.93%), Boeing (+1.44%) e United Health (+1.34%).
The worst performances, however, are recorded on Intelwhich gets -11.99%.
They focus on sales Dowwhich suffers a decline of 1.81%.
Sales up Visawhich recorded a decline of 1.75%.
Negative session for IBMwhich shows a loss of 1.68%.
To the top between Wall Street tech giantsthey position themselves Netflix (+2.76%), Charter Communications (+2.63%), MercadoLibre (+2.51%) e AirBnb (+2.22%).
The worst performances, however, are recorded on Intelwhich gets -11.99%.
Breathless KLA-Tencorwhich fell by 6.06%.
Thud of Globalfoundrieswhich shows a fall of 4.20%.
Under pressure DexComwhich suffered a decline of 3.19%.
