Contrary to popular belief, the Mossad spy is not necessarily a man, women have become a cornerstone of the Israeli intelligence services. They would represent 40% of the workforce and 26% of the commanders.
In their latest book The Mossad Amazons, Michel Bar-Zohar and Nissim Mishal paint a portrait of around twenty female spies and relate this rise in power, from the secretary of the 1950s, to the fighter.
