The Mayotte administrative detention center is the most active in France. Every year, more and more foreigners in an irregular situation pass through it, waiting to be sent back, often by boat, to their country of origin. Comorians, but also more and more new sectors from the African continent. Since the beginning of the year, more than 22,000 obligations to leave French territory have been implemented in Mayotte. This represents more than 65% of all OQTFs.
