The actor playing Trevor in GTA 5 says he filmed a James Bond DLC but then it disappeared

Fans of GTA 5 are still waiting in vain for a DLC for the story mode more than 10 years after its release – and we almost got Trevor as a secret agent.

Who is the person you are talking about?

  • Canadian actor Steve Ogg (50) played the impulsive criminal Trevor Philips in GTA V, who, along with his accomplices Michael De Santa and Franklin Clinton, is one of the playable characters in the action game.
  • Trevor is one of the most memorable characters in the game and stands out again and again throughout the story because of his quick-tempered nature and his escapades – not least because you wake up in a pink dress when you switch to him for a mission.
  • In addition to his role as Trevor, Steve Ogg can also be seen in successful series such as Better Call Saul and The Walking Dead.
  • In a Q&A stream on YouTube, Steve Ogg spoke about a story DLC for GTA 5 that never appeared. Also in the stream were Shawn Fonteno (Franklin) and Ned Luke (Michael De Santa), whose YouTube channel the stream can be seen.

What’s the DLC all about? GTA V – even though it has been out for over 10 years now – has not received a single DLC for the story, i.e. the offline mode. Instead, there were numerous updates to the online mode, which brought new buildings, heists, countless vehicles and even the casino.

In the stream, the three actors of Trevor, Michael and Franklin talk about DLCs for the story mode, in which the three would have had their own campaign. Steve Ogg says he would think it would be really cool if all three characters had their own game. Shawn Fonteno is also enthusiastic about the idea of a Franklin, a Michael and a Trevor DLC.

Ned Luke goes a step further and says he believes this was the original plan before GTA Online came along. Nevertheless, a story DLC is also his wish, after all, it already existed in GTA IV.

Steve Ogg then says that he has even made a Trevor DLC (via YouTube).

What is this Trevor DLC? According to Steve Ogg, he and Rockstar Games have already been working on a sort of James Bond Trevor DLC for GTA V, which would have seen Trevor go undercover for the feds.

Steve Ogg had already shot some scenes for the DLC, but then it “just disappeared” at Rockstar Games and it was finished.

And we shot some of those scenes with ‘James Bond Trevor’. He’s still kind of a bastard, but he does his best to pretend […]. We shot a few things and then it just disappeared and she [Rockstar] never did it, they never followed up on it.

We will probably never get a story mode DLC for GTA V and therefore never see Agent-Trevor. The planned release of GTA 6 for 2025 is currently still in question:
