When Vin Diesel isn’t documenting lunch breaks on the Fast and Furious 10 set, he’s taking to Instagram to celebrate his personal favorite holiday: Creative Sunday. While other creators take a break on the seventh day of the week, Diesel is busy planning new projects on the rest day. Vin Diesel’s Jurassic World is the film adaptation of Ark: Survival Evolved
The first trailer for Ark 2, the video game sequel to the primeval dinosaur action Ark: Survival Evolved, was released today. The main actor in the trailer: Vin Diesel. The star is a big fan of the predecessor and the game is said to have played around 1000 hours.

For part 2 he is on board as producer and developer. He shared the video on Instagram and wrote:

The emphasis is on the big screen. It was already known that Ark would come as a series. Ark: The Animated Series is slated to launch later this year, starring Diesel, Gerard Butler, Michelle Yeoh, Elliot Page and many other big names. So far, however, there has been no talk of a movie. Who better to do that than him biggest fan of the game in Hollywood?
What is the current “best video game” about?
Part 1, Ark: Survival Evolved, places players in a world inhabited by dinosaurs and other creatures. As the game progresses you collect items, take care of weapons, defense and of course a roof over your head. As the title says, it’s about survival.
Ark 2 will be released in 2023, six years after the original. In addition to the individual stories of the players, this time it’s about a father (Vin Diesel) and his daughter (Auli’i Cravalho), who ride Dino through the wilderness in the trailer.
Before Vin Diesel on his Answer to the Jurassic World movies can work, but first he has to finish shooting Fast and Furious 10.
