From “Best Jumpscare” to “Most Surreal Moment” and “Best Cringe Moment” everything was represented. But the best outfit of the evening was also duly chosen and this prize went to the jam grandma, who was there in person.
During the event, host StarletNova conducted a captivating interview with her that left a lasting impression on many viewers.
How did the interview go? During the interview, StarletNova sat sensitively next to the jam grandmother and the two exchanged intense looks while the jam grandmother told her moving story.
She reflected on how unusual it was for her as an “old woman” to be there at the event. She revealed that she was born in the year 31. StarletNova responded with a surprised “Wow” as it is rare to see people from this generation participate so actively in the Twitch world. Nevertheless, the jam grandmother emphasized her love for youth and her willingness to learn from them.
She also proudly reported on the over 200,000 followers she and her grandson have gained through their live streams together. What has she experienced in her past? The jam grandma also talked about her tragic past during the interview. She revealed that she almost lost her entire family in the war and had to witness the horrors of the Third Reich.
“We had to adapt, we had to relearn, we had to understand,” she reflected on this difficult time. These experiences made her think and led to a profound realization: “Look around, you are not the one suffering the most.”
She then began to leave out the “I” and give the “You”. This allows her to live a “win-win life,” as she explains.
“Whoever gives love, gets love,” she added, emphasizing that she lives by this motto today. This moving moment during the interview gave many viewers goosebumps and will remain in many memories.
Does she still have contact with Gronkh? After this event, the jam grandmother was often asked whether she was still in contact with Gronkh, as he had made a significant contribution to her popularity.
However, in a TikTok video from February 26, 2024, she clarified that she no longer maintains contact with Gronkh. She explained that she understands this because Gronkh works tirelessly and does countless good deeds.
“I won’t burden him at all,” she added. Nevertheless, she emphasized her deep gratitude to Gronkh, which, according to her, will last until her death.
