In Paris, the Christmas market in the Jardin des Tuileries is worth the detour. This year, it will take up residence from November 16, 2024 to January 1, 2025. It combines an artisanal village with nearly 80 wooden chalets, as well as a funfair with rides for all ages. One of the highlights is its Ferris wheel, offering magnificent views of Paris, as well as its 1,200 m² outdoor ice rink. At nightfall, with all the lights, the spectacle is sublime to see!

In Strasbourg, the oldest Christmas market in France (the first of which dates from 1570), takes place from November 27 to December 27, 2024. For this edition, the city will once again be adorned with its famous illuminations, with more than 300 chalets and a majestic fir tree on Place Kléber which this year will be partly decorated with books, a nod to the city’s nomination as World Book Capital 2024 by Unesco. At the same time, activities such as creative workshops, children’s shows and concerts will be organized, as well as stands offering Alsatian delicacies. Learn more about: www.noel.strasbourg.eu
